Natural Movement
Course Description:
Natural movement includes fundamental motions such as walking, running, climbing, and crawling, as well as object manipulation like lifting, carrying, throwing, and catching.
Classes will take place both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather. Please be prepared for the possibility of getting dirty or wet. Any necessary transitions between locations will be done by running (adjusted to individual abilities). If weather conditions are truly unfavorable, indoor facilities of the department will be used. Changing rooms and showers are available.
The course focuses on endurance and strength-endurance exercises aimed at improving physical fitness. Instruction will include the development of endurance and strength-endurance abilities through individual and group exercises using body weight, equipment, partner work, running, scooters, etc. The course also includes combat-style exercises to strengthen and shape the body and improve motor skills and abilities.
The goal of the course is to improve physical fitness, especially individual strength, strength-endurance, and coordination abilities.
Each class includes a warm-up in the form of games and stretching. The main part of the lesson (approx. 30 minutes) is dedicated to exercises tailored to individual abilities. This includes conditioning exercises such as strength training (circuit training, interval training, partner exercises, etc.), followed by final stretching.

Credit Requirements:
To earn both credits, students must actively participate in at least 22 out of 26 total lessons. During the semester, students will also have the opportunity to try various activities.
Information for Students Regarding Participation in Physical Education Classes
Participation in specific physical education classes and the selection of sports activities is based on the professional assessment of the instructor. The instructor takes into account individual abilities, health conditions, and the suitability of the chosen activity for each student, with the aim of ensuring safe and effective involvement in the course.
In justified cases, the instructor may decide not to include a student in a particular sport activity or form of instruction if participation would not be appropriate or safe for the student. In such cases, the student will be offered the opportunity for consultation and, if possible, an alternative form of instruction.
